Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 1 January 2024 · Last reviewed: January 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern enrolment in and participation in any programme offered by Langit Wealth Pte. Ltd. ("Langit Wealth", "we", "our"). By submitting an enrolment enquiry or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. About Langit Wealth
Langit Wealth Pte. Ltd. is a financial education company registered in Singapore. Our programmes are educational in nature and are designed to improve participants' understanding of personal finance, CPF structures, SGX instruments, and the Singapore retirement framework. Nothing in our programmes constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product.
2. Programme Enrolment
Enrolment in a programme is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and a written confirmation from Langit Wealth. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment application at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.
Each programme has a specified minimum and maximum number of participants. We reserve the right to cancel a programme intake if the minimum enrolment threshold is not met, in which case participants will receive a full refund of fees paid.
3. Fees and Payment
Programme fees are as stated at the time of enrolment and are denominated in Singapore dollars (SGD). Fees are inclusive of all course materials, workbooks, and access to weekly discussion sessions unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of the programme unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed.
- Accepted payment methods are indicated on the enrolment form.
- Langit Wealth does not offer instalment plans as a standard arrangement. Any exception requires prior written agreement.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change. The following policy applies to participant-initiated cancellations:
- 14 or more calendar days before programme commencement: Full refund of fees paid, less an administration fee of S$30.
- 7 to 13 calendar days before commencement: 50% refund of fees paid.
- Fewer than 7 calendar days before commencement: No refund. A credit note valid for 12 months may be issued at our discretion.
- After commencement: No refund or credit will be provided once a programme has begun, regardless of attendance.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The date of receipt of the written notice determines the applicable refund tier.
5. Deferral and Transfer
Participants who are unable to attend a scheduled intake may request a deferral to a future intake of the same programme, subject to availability. One deferral is permitted per enrolment at no charge, provided the request is made no fewer than 7 days before the original programme date. Subsequent deferrals may incur an administration fee.
Enrolment places are personal and non-transferable to third parties.
6. Programme Delivery
Programmes are delivered as described in the programme outline provided at the time of enrolment. Langit Wealth reserves the right to:
- Modify the schedule, content, or delivery format of a programme where reasonably necessary, with notice to enrolled participants.
- Substitute a facilitator where the named instructor is unavailable, provided the substitute holds equivalent qualifications.
- Move sessions to an online format where in-person delivery is not practicable due to health advisories, venue unavailability, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a programme is materially altered and a participant does not wish to continue, they may withdraw and receive a pro-rated refund for sessions not yet delivered.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, workbooks, slide decks, and reference documents provided as part of a programme are the intellectual property of Langit Wealth. Participants are licensed to use these materials for their own personal study and reference. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercialise any course material without prior written consent from Langit Wealth.
Recording of programme sessions — whether by audio, video, or screen capture — is not permitted without the written consent of Langit Wealth and all session participants.
8. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to engage with course materials and facilitators in a respectful and constructive manner. Langit Wealth reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme without refund if their conduct materially disrupts the learning environment or violates any applicable law or regulation.
9. No Financial Advice
The content of all Langit Wealth programmes is educational. Facilitators may hold relevant professional qualifications (including CMFAS and CFP certifications), but in the context of these programmes they act as educators, not advisers. Nothing discussed in a programme session, workbook, or reference material constitutes a personalised recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise deal in any financial product or instrument.
Participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial adviser for advice specific to their personal circumstances before making any financial decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Langit Wealth's liability to a participant for any claim arising in connection with a programme is limited to the fees paid by that participant for the relevant programme. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of investment returns or financial decisions made following participation in a programme.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Privacy
The collection and use of personal data in connection with enrolment and programme participation is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of enrolment governs the relevant programme. We will notify enrolled participants of any material change by email.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred first to mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before proceedings are commenced in any court of competent jurisdiction in Singapore.
