Core Advantages

What Participants Value About Our Courses

These are the features of our approach that participants consistently note as making the experience worth their time and attention.

Built for Singapore

Every session is grounded in Singapore's specific regulatory and institutional context — CPF Board policies, SGX trading rules, MAS frameworks, and the local insurance landscape.

  • CPF and SRS-specific content
  • SGX instrument mechanics
  • Local insurance framework review

Licensed Professionals

Instructors hold current MAS licences and relevant CFP or CMFAS certifications. The quality of teaching is reviewed annually and matched to each course's subject matter.

  • Current licences verified annually
  • Industry-experienced instructors
  • Subject-matched assignment

Unhurried Pacing

Courses run five to nine weeks with one session per week. The pace is designed for people with professional and family commitments who need time between sessions to reflect and complete workbook exercises.

  • One session per week
  • Workbook time built in
  • No intensive weekend cramming

Reference Workbooks

Every participant receives a written workbook that documents the key frameworks covered. These are designed to be useful long after the course — when reviewing decisions or preparing to engage a financial planner.

  • Retained by participants
  • Updated with policy changes
  • Practical exercise sections

No Product Agenda

Langit Wealth neither sells nor recommends financial products. There is no commission arrangement with any product provider. The instruction is educational and stands entirely on its own.

  • No commission arrangements
  • No post-course solicitation
  • Education only

Collegial Discussion

Small session sizes allow genuine dialogue. Participants consistently note that hearing the questions raised by others in similar life situations is as valuable as the prepared content itself.

  • Small group sizes
  • Peer learning environment
  • Structured Q&A each session

In Depth

Each Advantage Explained

Professional Expertise

Our instructors bring years of direct experience working within Singapore's financial industry — not as commentators but as practitioners. Tan Li Wen spent seventeen years in wealth management before joining Langit Wealth. Rajan Nair holds a current CMFAS M6 licence and has traded SGX instruments professionally. This depth of background means participants receive explanations drawn from actual practice, not from textbooks alone.

Structured Methodology

Each course follows a documented curriculum that moves from foundational concepts to applied frameworks. The Household Finance course begins with a personal balance sheet before moving to cash flow and insurance. The SGX course covers instrument mechanics before addressing portfolio construction considerations. Participants are never asked to absorb advanced material before the groundwork has been properly laid. This sequencing reflects years of refinement based on what actually helps participants learn.

Current, Accurate Content

CPF contribution rates, LIFE payout tiers, and SGX regulations do not remain static. Our course materials are reviewed against current CPF Board publications and MAS regulatory guidance each year. When significant policy changes occur — such as adjustments to the Full Retirement Sum or CareShield Life premiums — course content is updated before the following intake. Participants can be confident that what they learn reflects the framework that currently applies to them.

Participant-Centred Service

Enquiries are answered personally, not by automated response. Participants who have questions after a session can reach instructors directly. Those who find a particular module challenging are encouraged to raise it — the course format allows for revision where needed. We do not treat enrolment as a transaction. We treat it as the beginning of a period of careful study that deserves proper support.

Outcomes Oriented

The measure of a good course is not the content covered but the understanding carried away from it. Participants who complete the Retirement Framework Deep Review leave with a working knowledge of the CPF LIFE election decision, the SRS contribution strategy, and how to coordinate private and public retirement assets. These are not abstract achievements — they are the specific decisions that Singapore residents in their forties and fifties need to make well.

Transparent, Contained Fees

Course fees are stated clearly before enrolment and cover all materials, workbooks, and sessions. There are no additional charges during or after the course. At S$185 to S$435 per programme, the fee represents a modest investment in formal education compared to the decisions participants will subsequently be in a better position to make independently.

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive Characteristics

A course designed for the decade before retirement

Unlike broad financial literacy programmes that begin from first principles, our curriculum presupposes adult experience and focuses on the specific decisions that arise between forty and sixty-five.

Three sequenced programmes that build on each other

Participants who complete all three courses develop a comprehensive understanding of their financial landscape — from household budgeting through to the coordination of CPF, SRS, and private investments.

No competing interest in your financial decisions

Our fee is paid at enrolment. We have no commercial reason to influence the financial decisions you subsequently make. That independence is a material advantage in a field where it is not common.

Content that prepares you to work with advisors more effectively

Participants who later engage a financial planner or insurance advisor consistently report that the course gave them the vocabulary and framework to have far more productive conversations.
